These 7-inch athletic shorts are made with 100% extra-fine New Zealand merino wool (19.5 microns, 250 GSM) for natural performance without polyester or nylon in the main body fabric.

Made with RWS-certified and OEKO-TEX® certified material, they're built for training, warm-ups, travel, recovery, and everyday movement.

Merino naturally manages moisture, resists odor, breathes, and helps regulate temperature — without relying on synthetic performance fabric or a synthetic liner.

We've also chosen a metal pocket zipper instead of a conventional plastic zipper, reducing another source of plastic in the garment.

Instead of using a conventional plastic pocket zipper, these shorts feature a metal zipper, eliminating another unnecessary plastic component from the garment.

It's a small detail, but that's how we approach reducing synthetics: component by component, wherever a better alternative makes sense.

Elastic Drawstring Waist

An internal elastic waistband and drawstring provide a secure, comfortable fit while allowing the merino body to remain naturally flexible.

Transparency, Without the Spin

When we say 100% merino wool, we're talking about the main body fabric.

We don't believe in pretending every component of a finished performance garment can currently be made entirely from wool.

Small amounts of synthetic material are still used where functionally necessary, including:

• Internal waistband elastic
• Drawstring or other small functional trims where applicable
• Thread and construction components where applicable

But we're actively looking for places where plastic can be removed.

That's why these shorts use a metal pocket zipper instead of a conventional plastic zipper.

What you won't find is a polyester or nylon body fabric disguised behind a small percentage of merino. And you won't find a synthetic athletic liner underneath the wool.

The fabric covering the overwhelming majority of your body is 100% merino wool.

We're reducing synthetics wherever we reasonably can — from the body fabric to smaller components like the zipper — and being transparent about where we haven't eliminated them yet.
